Cool sunset tour
Went on the Negombo Sunset Boat Tour with a few friends. It was super chill. The sunset over the lagoon looked amazing, real pretty colors. Our guide was funny and told us some local stories, which was neat. They even had cold drinks on board, which was a nice touch. I thought it was a bit tough to find the exact meeting point at first, took a few tries, but once we got going, it was all good. Would definitely do it again if I'm back in the area.

Good tour, but a bit pricey
I booked the Monkey Island Negombo Lagoon and Sea Adventures Boat Tour. The wildlife spotting was really good, saw some interesting birds and monkeys. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out a lot of things. The booking process online was straightforward. My only real gripe is that it felt a little expensive for just a few hours on the water, even with the sea adventure part. I might have expected a small group discount to be a bit higher. Overall, it was a pleasant experience though.
